Stratford upon Avon trip

Year 7, 8 and 9 students are being given the chance to visit William Shakespeare’s birthplace and other famous places in Stratford upon Avon on a school trip.

 Year 7, 8 and 9 students are being given the chance to visit William Shakespeare’s birthplace and other famous places in Stratford upon Avon on a school trip.

Students at Thomas Clarkson have been studying some of the Bard’s most famous plays in lessons – Year 8s have been learning about ‘Macbeth’ and Year 9s have been studying ‘Romeo and Juliet’, while Year 7 students are set to study ‘The Tempest’.

A trip to Stratford will run for students in Year 7, 9y and 9z on Thursday 4th July  and another trip will run for students in Year 8 and 9x on Wednesday 17th July. Letters about the trip are available to download below.

On the trip students will get the chance to visit all five of Shakespeare’s houses, including Mary Arden’s Farm.

The cost is £26 per student, to be paid by Friday 28th June.
