More than £1,700 was raised for charity at the official opening of the Thomas Clarkson Academy theatre.
The theatre was opened with a performance by the Royal Air Force Swing Wing Band, a 20-piece big band, in March.
Chairman of the Downham Market branch of the RAF Association, Peter Kingston, visited Thomas Clarkson Academy last week to collect a cheque for the proceeds of the evening, which will be donated to The Wings Appeal, the campaign which helps to raise the vital funds needed to support serving and ex-RAF personnel and their families.
