New area and member of staff for guidance on careers

A new area has been created in school and member of staff has joined us to help students with information and guidance on careers and education.

The dedicated new Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) area has been created in Little Eden.

Computers are set to be installed so students can look at websites linked to CEIAG and helpful books and other publications will be kept on the shelves so that students can have a seat and do some research on possible career paths and future courses.

Our new CEIAG ambassador Hetty Cliss has also joined us this term and will be based at the purple and grey desk in the CEIAG area.

Miss Cliss said: “CEIAG is really important and we are focusing on it with the new area in Little Eden.”

Further CEIAG trips will be run this year after several successful outings last year, which included trips to the University of Cambridge and the University of East Anglia
