Students and staff can now keep up to date with the day’s national news and have a look at a range of magazines in the Learning Information Centre.

Copies of the Daily Mirror and The Times are now being put out in the Learning Information Centre every day. It has also got a rack of magazines, with more titles being added all the time.

The magazines have all been donated and include copies of Top Gear magazine, gadget magazine Stuff and Shout magazine.

Leader of the Learning Information Centre Debbie Trafford said: “It’s important to have the newspapers for students’ knowledge of the world and to encourage them to read and to enjoy reading, as reading is important.”
