Our Year 7 girls’ rounders team did the academy proud at a tournament this week.

They came second at the tournament held at Witchford Village College on Wednesday, June 8th.

Sports teacher Amy Anderson said: “They played so well. Their batting was good and Captain Piper O’Neill scored lots of rounders, alongside Vanesa Marcova.

“In the field Aleksandra Barkara on 4th base, and Daniella Stute on 2nd base were very good at stopping the other teams scoring points.

“There were fantastic catches in the deep field by Gabriele Sidabraite & Megija Brize.

“All students were motivated and represented TCA with such sportsmanship.

“Our next match is against King’s Lynn Academy on 22nd June at home. We hope students and staff can come out and support.”
