Our Year 7 girls’ rounders team did the academy proud at a tournament this week.

They came second at the tournament held at Witchford Village College on Wednesday, June 8^th.

Sports teacher Amy Anderson said: “They played so well. Their batting was good and Captain Piper O’Neill scored lots of rounders, alongside Vanesa Marcova.

“In the field Aleksandra Barkara on 4^th base, and Daniella Stute on 2^nd base were very good at stopping the other teams scoring points.

 “There were fantastic catches in the deep field by Gabriele Sidabraite & Megija Brize.

“All students were motivated and represented TCA with such sportsmanship.

 “Our next match is against King’s Lynn Academy on 22^nd June at home. We hope students and staff can come out and support.”
