They will head to Dereham, Norfolk, for the popular event which sees students from around the area pit their literary knowledge against each other in teams of four. Participants cannot be older than 14 on July 31 2024.

The heats for this year run from February 22 to March 25, and our teams will be heading to Northgate High School on March 1 where teams from across the east of England will be battling for a place in the next round.

Students need to register their interest in taking part by adding their name to a sign-up sheet in the academy library at break or lunch.

There will be two teams of four members and two reserves, so don’t hang around if you want to take part.

We took part last year and our teams (see photo above) did us very proud, but if you think you have fantastic book knowledge, head to the library and see Miss Robinson.
