A range of fiction books in several eastern European languages are available to borrow from our Learning Information Centre.

Books, including favourites like the Horrid Henry titles, are available to borrow in Polish, Russian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Slovakian and Portuguese.

Other titles available in other languages include The Time Traveller’s Wife.

The books are being specially displayed to show students that they are available to borrow.

Leader of the Learning Information Centre, Debbie Trafford, said: “A lot of the books are available in English too so that students who read the titles in other languages can read the same books as their peers. We have had a really good response to the titles in other languages, at one point we had a huddle of students around the trolley wanting to borrow them.”
