Students shared poems they had written and were given prizes at an awards night held in the theatre.

The awards evening was held on Wednesday to congratulate the winners of three competitions run recently at TCA.

The competitions were the Poetry Rivals competition, the Inspire Me! writing competition and the Rappaman poetry and lyrics competition. The latter was held to mark a visit by rap poet Donavan ‘Rappaman’ Christopher to the library earlier this term.

Prizes for two of the competitions were kindly sponsored by Priden Engineering and Wisbech Rotary Club. Stuart Warren, Finance Director of Priden Engineering, and Chris Mackett, immediate past president of Wisbech Rotary Club, joined us on the evening to present the prizes.

Jone Lipnickaite and Mr Rodriguez provided musical entertainment throughout the evening.
