Our three head girls Chelsea Munday, Hannah Loughlin and Stacey Pitcher did the Academy proud when they took part in their first meeting of Fenland District Youth Council this week.

Chelsea, Hannah and Stacey went to the meeting at Whittlesey Youth and Community Centre on Wednesday (September 26).

They were accompanied by Sarah Loosemore, Head of the King Learning Community.

At the meeting the girls joined in discussion on topics including Youth District Council Grants Assessments and a Democracy Day event, and watched a presentation on road safety.

Our Head Boys and Girls and members of our Academy Student Council will represent the Academy at meetings of Fenland District Youth Council throughout the year.

Mrs Loosemore said: “Their appearance, confident contributions to the proceedings and overall professional manner was a pleasure to witness.

“One of the Fenland Councillors who was there said the girls had been a credit to themselves, to Thomas Clarkson Academy and to the Wisbech community.”

Chelsea is Head Girl for the King Learning Community, Stacey is Head Girl for Madiba and Hannah is Head Girl for Pankhurst.
