Performers from Thomas Clarkson Academy and the wider community will be taking part in a Celebration of the Arts at the school on Saturday, 17th May as part of Wisbech Arts Festival.

The event, A Celebration of the Arts Achievements of Young People in Fenland, will take place in the theatre from 10am to noon and is open to students as well as guests from outside the school.

Around 50 students will be taking part in a range of dance, drama and music pieces and there will also be displays of art work and photography.

GCSE Dance students (pictured) will be among those taking to the stage to perform a Lindy Hop dance.

There will also be performances from soloists, a harpist, guitarists and the Sixth Form Performing Arts students with their live Punch and Judy show.

Lisa Tarsitano, Head of Expressive Arts, said: “We have some very talented performers at TCA and the Celebration of the Arts will be a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills to the community. Please come along and support them, it promises to be a great show.”
