Players and coaches from Wisbech Town Hockey Club have been taking part in training sessions with members of Thomas Clarkson Academy’s student hockey club.

As part of the Living Sport programme the club has joined forces with PE teacher Amy Anderson to deliver sessions covering the basics of hockey.

Miss Anderson said: “It came about as part of the Living Sport programme, and a mutual interest of myself and Wisbech Town Hockey Club to develop hockey in Wisbech.

“The coaches have been impressed with the natural ability of those attending and have commented that skills have been developed very quickly.”

Thomas Clarkson Academy Students’ Hockey Club is on from 2.40pm-3.40pm each Monday until Easter.

Students don't need to have any experience, and all equipment is provided.
