Autism Acceptance Month

April has been designated as Autism Acceptance Month - and when we return to school, there are some great resources to help you learn more.

There are some 700,000 people who are autistic, and no two are exactly the same. It is a lifelong condition and can affect how some communicate and interact with the world.

People with autism have their own strengths and weaknesses, and the definition has changed over the years. The needs of people vary widely, with some having 24/7 needs and others who need much less intervention.
