Around 30 students from Peckover, Ramnoth, St Peters, Kinderley, Gorefield, Elm and Alderman Payne primary schools visited TCA for a Gifted and Talented Maths day today (Wednesday, October 17).

The students started the day by doing an activity with Jelly Babies. This involved them sorting the sweets into colour groups and drawing various graphs to represent the proportional amount of each colour from all the sweets they had.

The students were timed as they did a running exercise outside and then tasked with working out their speed in metres per second, kilometres per second and miles per hour.

They also built various cuboid shapes using blocks.
