Support Families In Need appeal

TCA students will be helping families in need this Christmas by bringing in donations and taking part in fundraising events in the lead up to the end of term.

TCA students will be helping families in need this Christmas by bringing in donations and taking part in fundraising events in the lead up to the end of term.

Here is all the information on how students can support TCA’s families in need appeal, which is raising money for the Salvation Army appeal:

Donate

Students are being asked to donate any tins or packets of food, chocolates, books, toys, biscuits and anything that could make help make someone’s Christmas really special.

Students can drop these donations into their community office each morning.

The gifts will be used to fill present boxes which will be put under the Christmas tree.

During the last week of term next week

Raffle tickets will be available to buy for 20p every day during lesson 1 and 4 in Eden.

There will be various prizes, including a festive cake as first prize.

The winners will be announced at 1.15pm on Friday (last day of term) in Eden.

Cake stall

Students will be running a cake stall at break and lunch on Thursday 20th December and Friday 21st December. Students are being reminded to bring in spare change to buy some cakes.

Head of the King Learning Community, Sarah Loosemore, said: “Everyone really got involved with our Children In Need fundraising and were very supportive of the appeal, which is why we decided to do it all again to support the Salvation Army appeal with Families In Need.”
