Orchards students visit TCA for Spanish lesson

Students from Orchards Primary School learned Spanish phrases and facts about Spain when they took part in a Modern Foreign Languages lesson at TCA this week.
Students from Orchards Primary School learned Spanish phrases and facts about Spain when they took part in a Modern Foreign Languages lesson at TCA this week.
The Year 5 and 6s learned how to say hello and goodbye and how to introduce themselves in Spanish.
Mr Rodriguez, who led the class, showed them what Spain is famous for – including paella and flamenco dancing.
They played a game where students competed to read the months of the year in Spanish the fastest.
The students also played a game of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. They learned about the capital of Spain, the country’s population and its customs.
