  • Christmas Jumper and Christmas Dinner day

    Thomas Clarkson Academy is set to celebrate the festive season with a series of charity events on Wednesday, December 18th. Students are encouraged to participate in a Christmas Jumper Non-Uniform Day, with Year 8 students collecting donations during tutor time for Sarcoma UK. This charity is dedicated to supporting those affected by sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that can affect any part of the body. Sarcoma UK is the only cancer charity in the UK focusing on all types of sarcoma, funding vital research, offering support, and campaigning for better treatments. Each year, around 5,300 people in the UK are diagnosed with sarcoma.

    Before we all break-up for the holiday, please make sure you have returned your books so they are available for other students to read.

    All current loans are due in by Wednesday, December 18. Holiday loans can be arranged by asking at the library desk. This is available for renewals to keep your existing book over the break and for any new loans you wish to borrow.
