The College of West Anglia has issued the following advice:

YR11/13 Applications –

All of our application systems and processes remain the same. On application students will receive an acknowledgement by post and email with instructions about how to access our student portal. Here they will have full control over their application by choosing their interview date, amending their personal information and accepting offers all from their phone or other device.

This will allow us to confirm interview arrangements as this is the only aspect which is likely to change.

If there is any issue whereby they cannot apply via Help You Choose or My Choice 16, then they are able to apply directly at We will be able to provide schools with applicant names on request.

CWA Student Services –

All of our student services remain contactable at this time for anything relating to-

- Applications

- Fees and Financial Help

- Personal and Learning Support

- Transport including CWA Travel Subsidy

Please email them with your query and they will be happy to help you:

General enquiries:

Year 10 Taster Days – It is with sadness, but given the current situation we have cancelled this year’s Year 10 Taster Days due to take place in June. We will look to hopefully offer something in the autumn term as Year 11s and I will keep you updated on those decisions as soon as I can. I appreciate that some schools have coaches booked for this so it gives you time to cancel.

CWA Open Days – Both Open Days planned for 21st & 24th April at our Cambridge Campus are cancelled and those who have already booked places will be notified directly.

We are still taking applications for courses - our admissions team will be working remotely.

Interviews are currently suspended, and applicants will be contacted when we receive their applications to inform them that we will be in touch as soon as we have dates to resume interviews.

If you have any questions you can contact the admissions team using the following email address:

The university is offering virtual taster sessions to give potential applicants in years 11-13 the chance to explore studying the subject at university, meet one of our lecturers and ask any questions they might have.
