Have a book in your pocket
We have Great Expectations for our students and reading is crucial to all of them.
So whether you are in The Ghost Garden, Punching the Air, The Boy Who Made Everyone Laugh or Little Dorritt - make sure you have a book in your pocket if you are a KS3 student.
There will be Green Cards at the end of the week for students who have a reading book on their desk at the start of every English lesson.
"Stories are the most important thing in the world. Without stories, we wouldn't be human beings at all," said Philip Pullman - and he knows a thing or two about them. Have you read His Dark Materials trilogy?
