Celebrating our libraries
Monday October 3 will mark the start of a week dedicated to all things library.
The week will celebrate our libraries and the central role they play in supporting life-long learning for everyone.
Students can access a range of free services by becoming a member of a Cambridgeshire library, in person, online or digital, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eComics, eMagazines and eNewspapers.
There is a reliable online reference library with dictionaries, encyclopaedias, a database of online biographies. Our older students can even access a simulation of the driving theory test.
Closer to home, our own academy library is packed and borrowing books is free for all our students.
And we also have a competition - ask for a display Post-It note and complete the sentence 'I love my library because . . .'
Don't forget to add your name and tutor group on the back of the note so you can be entered into a free draw.
