World Poetry Day is on Tuesday, March 21, and there is plenty of inspiration to be found in our library.  Entries can be on paper or via email and can take any form of poetry - it doesn't have to rhyme!

The closing date is March 31 at 3pm, and you can email Miss Robinson or take your entries to the library to take part.

And if that's not enough, how about taking part in the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award which is one of the most prestigious for students aged between 11 and 17? It is free to enter, and you can submit as many poems as you like.

There are prizes on offer and everyone who takes part will receive an e-certificate to congratulate them on being part of the initiative.
