Mentored Year 11 students have been given packs to help them with their exam revision.

The packs include various stationary for students to use, including post it notes to mark out important points in their books and cue cards for them to condense their notes onto to help them revise and remember important points.

Year 11 student Harry Bradley said: “I’ve been using GCSE Pod a lot in my revision so far. I think this pack will help me, I think I will make some flash cards.”

Head of Mentoring, Angela King, said: “We are trying to make it as easy as possible for students to revise for their exams. The revision packs are another useful resource for students. We are trying to gear it towards all different types of learners.

“Anyone who wants some help or advice with their revision can come and speak to me and I can show them the different approaches they could use.”

Year 11 students have been making use of GCSE Pod, which was introduced at Thomas Clarkson Academy just before the Easter holiday, as part of their revision. For more details click here.
