The next show at The Act Theatre will be the musical Into The Woods Jr, performed by Thomas Clarkson Academy students.
The next show at The Act Theatre will be the musical Into The Woods Jr, performed by Thomas Clarkson Academy students.
The students – The Act Theatre Company – will perform a special matinee show to pupils from local primary schools on Wednesday 10th July and will put on two evening performances to the public. The public performances will take place on Wednesday 10th July and Thursday 11th July at 7.30pm.
Into The Woods Jr is crazy, magical musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine. Rehearsals are well underway and students are busy preparing for their roles.

Head of Expressive Arts, Lisa Tarsitano, said: “Rehearsals are going well, the students are working hard on learning their parts and Mr Moment is working even harder on setting the scenes.
“Mrs Holland, Mrs Keeley and Mrs Trenoweth have created some lovely costume designs and have already started fitting cast members with costumes – we have been particularly impressed by the vintage wedding dress Mrs Holland has managed to find!
“We are super excited to have Emma Small working with us as our lead vocal coach and her impact on the cast members has already been felt.
“Only five weeks of rehearsal left - the performance week is fast approaching!”
Tickets for Into The Woods Jr at The Act Theatre (based at Thomas Clarkson Academy) are £7 (£5 concessions) or £20 for a family (2 adults and 2 children).
