Our Act Theatre came alive with festive cheer last night when our annual Expressive Arts evening took place.

There was something for everyone, with a festival of dance, drama and music and for the first time our Community Choir took to the stage.

Teacher Lisa Tarsitano said: “‘My team are overwhelmingly proud of all of the students who took part in our Expressive Arts evening this year. Several audience members told me that they had goose-bumps as they watched the children perform – what a compliment! “This morning, I have been bombarded by students asking when the next show is because they loved the experience and can’t wait to do it again – a great way to end the autumn term.

Performances included GCSE & BTEC Dance students (year 9,10 & 11), BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts students (Year 12 & 13), Drama club, Choir, GCSE Music students (Year 10) and Community Choir.

Mrs Tarsitano said: “They have been practising throughout this autumn term and the show was a mixture of Christmas and non-Christmas items.”
