Prizes have been awarded to the winners of several competitions organised to promote the library and reading for pleasure.

Prizes have been awarded to the winners of several competitions organised to promote the library and reading for pleasure.

In the first competition, Year 7s were challenged to complete a book review following their transition day at TCA in July.

They had to include what the story was about, their favourite part of the book and favourite character, and give it a star rating.

The winner, chosen by Mr Bronizewski, was Eleanor in 7K2 and the runners-up were Keavie in 7P3 and George in 7M1 (pictured above).

Year 7s were also asked to complete a library induction when they started at TCA, which included questions on where and how to find certain books.

The winner was Kacey in 7K2, with runners-up Matas in 7M1 and Millie-May in 7P2 (pictured left).

For a recent competition held to celebrate Libraries Week, students were asked to give their reasons why they love the library, for a display created by our Library Ambassadors.
