Easter revision sessions for Year 11 students

As the important exam season approaches, a revision programme for Year 11 students has been put together for the Easter holidays.

A tailored programme for a number of Year 11 students has been created to ensure they maximise their full potential in their GCSE year.

There are revision sessions across most subjects and a timetable has been posted on the school website. Click here

Not all Year 11 students will be taking part – those involved and their parents will have been informed, with the dates and times that they need to attend.

Intervention coordinator Lisa Tarsitano said: “There has been a wealth of intervention taking place over this term and to support students to receive the best possible GCSE grades, this work will continue over the Easter holidays.

“It is crucial that each student who has been invited to the revision sessions comes along and we would ask parents to help ensure this.”

Every Year 11 student has been provided with a revision planner to help organise revision and identify which areas of study needs to be focused on in each subject. Students should write their exam dates into the planner to help visualise how soon the exams are approaching and to help them see how to organise their time to ensure that they are fully prepared for each exam.

Those attending the Easter revision sessions must make sure they sign in and out at the main reception.

Students do not have to wear academy uniform during these sessions.

Breakfast consisting of bacon rolls will be provided between 9am – 9.30am and a packed lunch and drink for lunch 12pm - 12.30pm.
