Students at TCA celebrated European Day of Languages by using greetings from around the world.

The school joined the global celebration by taking part in language and cultural based activities.

Clarisse Njikang, leader of Modern Foreign Languages, said: “There are over 6,000 languages spoken in the world and behind each and every one of them lies a rich and diverse culture. That's what the European Day of Languages aims to celebrate, by showing people across Europe how important languages are, and what fun can be had learning them.

“Our school has many students from across the world and therefore it is important to raise awareness on why sharing each other’s culture as well as language is important.”
