Students at Thomas Clarkson Academy’s running club proved their ability for the second time while performing at Ely in a cross country run.
With an amazing effort from all 12 students, Niamh Morgan, Megan Sheldon, Eleanor Carr, Joe Wheatley and John Goude managed to achieve a position in the top 12 of their individual races and will compete on January 17th to represent the school in the County Schools Cross Country Championships.
A special mention goes to Niamh and Megan who were outstanding.
Niamh, who unfortunately missed her Year 7 race, was then entered in the Year 8 and 9 girls, achieving qualification at seventh place.
Megan took ease, sprinting round the course and finishing in third place.
