Students from Thomas Clarkson Academy performed at the 02 Arena in London on Tuesday, January 27th, with members of the Children's Saturday Music School Choir which rehearses at the academy each Saturday during term time.

The school choir was positioned right at the front of the stage and performed with more than 7,000 other students from schools across the UK.

Young Voices is a charitable organisation that uses music and singing to raise funds for a number of children's charities, including CLIC Sargent.

X Factor finalist Lucy Spraggan performed two songs with the massed children's choir and TCA students were thrilled to watch the street dance group Urban Strides performing.

TCA’s leader of music Gayna O’Rourke said: “Performing with the Young Voices Choir allows our students the exciting opportunity to perform at one of the most exciting modern performance spaces in the country whilst singing a varied programme of songs, from pop songs to Mozart. TCA students worked hard to memorise the lyrics and learn the dance moves for each song.”
