Sport students are put through their paces
Students were put through their paces with a range of sports ranging from free weights to yoga when they spent the day with a personal trainer.
A trip to Lynnsport, in King’s Lynn, saw them experience a variety of methods of training on offer. It was also, coincidentally, National Fitness Day so there was no excuse to stand still.
“The group of Year 11 and Year 13 students were able to try a range of techniques, from fixed resistance machines to core stability gym-based exercises and Pilates. Learning about these methods in a practical way proved to be invaluable,” said Miss Anderson, second in PE.
“They were trained by Sonia Garner, a personal trainer, and she certainly put everyone through their paces,” she added.
