Staff held a Stars in Their Eyes style competition to help raise funds for a team of students who are heading to Borneo this summer.

Teacher Dan Hudson was crowned the winner on the night for his impersonation of George Ezra.

Altogether £127 was raised from the proceeds of a cake sale and donations.

Teacher Oliver Mackett, (pictured) who will be joining the students on their expedition, said: "It was a fantastic event with some great singing, the students all joined in and some very needed funds were raise for the Borneo trip."

As part of the four-week expedition, the students (who are from Years 11-13) will work and live in a rural community and become involved in projects, which could include building schools or forest regeneration.
