A lot of love for our library
The winners of our Libraries Week draw have been revealed.
The judging panel of Mr Scott, Mrs Maraschin and Mr Gooda had a tough job, but they selected three winners who each received a £10 gift voucher - so congratulations to Maria R in Year 7, Julia K in Year 9 and Connor M in Year 11.
Among the student comments on display were:
“I love the library because it’s a safe place that celebrates difference and I can openly talk to my friends there.”

“I love the library because the books are really interesting and the people that work here a re very nice and supporting. I enjoy reading very much and I am always up to trying a new book, even if the cover is not immediately eye-catching.”
“I love the library because you can spend time with your friend in a quiet place, also the people in here are so kind to one another.”
There are free online and digital services available from libraries in Cambridgeshire. Any member can access eBooks, eAudiobooks, eComics, eMagazines and eNewspapers as well as in-person loans.
Our library is open to students in all year groups to read, borrow, return, renew books and for individual study or homework during break and lunch every day. It is also open to sixth from students during any periods not scheduled for a timetabled lesson.
