Super help from supermarket
A Wisbech supermarket has been going above and beyond to help our academy.
The team at Morrison’s has been donating a range of items for a substantial amount of time to help our families who might be finding things tough.
“They have donated food, toiletries and cleaning products along with bedding, pans and treats for our families,” said Mrs Hewitt, Family Worker at our academy.
“The supermarket also sends special items at Christmas and Easter, so families receive gifts, which is a lovely touch,” she added.
Community Champion at the store is Julie Vaughan who is also a regular visitor to the academy and Mrs Hewitt said she wanted the company to know how valued the support is.
“Julie and Morrison’s have really made an effort. She comes into school and meets the staff, and sends things for our students and their families. It makes a real difference,” added Mrs Hewitt.
