Students mark the Armistice

We held a week of special assemblies to mark the Armistice and Remembrance Sunday - discussing with each year group why 11am on November 11  is so important.

A group of our pupils are also members of the uniformed services, and proudly wore their own uniform on Friday as a mark of respect for those lost in war or conflict.

Led by Flying Officer Anne Rose, who teaches maths at our academy, the air cadets of 272 (Wisbech) Squadron, which meets on Monday and Thursday evenings at the Cadet Centre in Sandylands Street, were well represented.

The squadron was also very much involved with the town's parade on Remembrance Sunday and more information can be found on its Facebook page.
