A Year 11 student organised a Children in Need music and dance extravaganza and raised a fantastic £650.
A Year 11 student organised a Children in Need music and dance extravaganza and raised a fantastic £650.
Lizzie Ann Bryant gathered together a team of talented musicians and dancers from TCA and local dance and drama groups to host the CIN Talent Showcase at the Act Theatre on Friday, November 13th.
Aided by TCA staff Gayna O’Rourke, Lisa Tarsitano. Nathan White and David Bliss the show raised the fantastic sum through ticket sales and refreshments.
Lizzie Ann said: “My mum put together a Children in Need concert when she was my age and so I decide I would like to do the same.
“I can’t believe that it went so well and I it was a fantastic evening.”
Lizzie Ann sang during the event and there were also solo performances from students Grace Hanlon, jade Thompson, Gemma Dickerson, Rugele Deluvate and Bethany Ellerby.
Wisbech’s Cantus Female choir also performed as well as WAODS (the Wisbech Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society). The TCA dance group Inspire and BTEC dance students also entertained the audience. The event was compared by teacher Sarah Loosemore and Year 8 student Gvidas Grikietis.
