Students were given a good insight into the working world as our largest ever careers fair saw more than 30 exhibitors visit TCA.

Students were given a good insight into the working world as our largest ever careers fair saw more than 30 exhibitors visit TCA.

Several hundred students visited the fair which was held in Eden on November 18th.

They were able to receive advice and information from the 32 companies, which included national and local firms, training providers and Further Education and Higher Education providers.

Companies in attendance included News UK, film production company Wildcats, Lamb Weston, engineering firm Metalcraft and

Public sectors bodies the NHS, Cambridgeshire Police and Fenland District Council also had information stalls as well as education providers Great Peterborough UTC, The College of West Anglia and Lincoln University.

CEIAG ambassador Vicky Read said: “The event went really well and we have had a lot of positive feedback from both students and exhibitors. Both Rebecca Sussex from the Skills Service and I want to thank all those attended and made it such a constructive and engaging day.”

 Students from Years 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and the Cooper Centre attended throughout the day.
