Fundraising for Save the Children
Donations have been totted up to reveal that students’ efforts to support Save the Children raised just over £377.
The Academy held a Christmas jumper day and cake sale while Sixth Formers organised a staff talent show at the end of term, featuring musical and singing acts along with comedy sketch shows.
It is the latest in a series of fundraising efforts that students have played a key role in – activities organised by Sixth Formers raised more than £300 for Children in Need, while almost £300 was collected as part of anti-bullying week.
Staff have also played their part, raising £163 for Macmillan Cancer Support with a cake sale.
Many thanks to all students, staff and families who have supported the Academy’s fundraising activities.
