Trip Supports Russell Group University Applications
A trip to The University of Cambridge proved to be inspirational to Sixth Formers who are hoping to apply to Russell Group universities.
A group of Year 12 students who have their sights set on gaining a place at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities gained an insight into life at The University of Cambridge.
During the visit to Trinity Hall college, students were given information about applications to Russell Group universities and had a tour of both the college and university campus.
They also took part in a debate exercise to help develop their communication skills and their confidence.
There was further support for Year 12 as they prepare for their next steps, with a CV writing workshop held at the Academy conjunction with the Skills Service.
