Student Progression
TCA will guide students through the crucial decisions and options they face throughout their Sixth Form education. We will work to ensure students have developed all the necessary skills, achieved the required grades and developed the knowledge to excel on their chosen path. All students have access to a specialist careers adviser for support with making post-18/19 decisions. The CEIAG team will work closely with the Sixth Form staff to assist students through applications, personal statements and the UCAS process. With frequent off-site visits to career fairs, university campuses, skills shows as well as regular guest speakers from a number of organisations, we provide students with a range of experiences to inform their decisions
In recent years, we have seen a number of students secure places at Russell Group universities, including the University of Cambridge, the University of Nottingham, Kings' College London, the University of Leeds, the University of Manchester and the University of Southampton. They have gone on to study subjects including neuroscience, English literature, biomedical science, maths, history, environmental science, chemical engineering, languages and finance and chemistry.
